Description:
Please quote engineered hardwood suitable for a dance studio: hard maple/sugar maple preferred, with ash, beech, or white oak as acceptable alternatives; long plank format, ideally around 15 190 1900 mm or similar, with 15 mm total thickness, 3 mm wear veneer, and birch/Baltic birch plywood core preferred. Unfinished or factory-sanded material is acceptable and may be preferred, since we can apply a site-finished sports/dance polyurethane after installation; factory-finished is also acceptable only if it is smooth matte/satin and suitable for pivots and turns. We need square edge or the smallest possible micro-bevel—no deep bevel, V-groove, hand-scraped, distressed, heavy brushed, or textured finish. The floor will be used for West Coast Swing/social dancing, so the final surface needs controlled slip, smooth pivots, high durability, and no seams/edges that could catch dance shoes.
