Garapa also known as Brazilian Ash , is an outstanding choice for exterior wood work including siding and decking. Lighter in color than Ipe and Massaranduba, Garapa Decking is a beautiful honey-toned Brazilian hardwood that is extremely durable with low maintenance. It typically has fine, straight grain with some pieces having a ribbon grain that give your deck a modern warm appearance.

Garapa hardwood siding 

Garapa (apuleia leiocarpa) siding is kiln-dried and “clear ” grade – free of knots and sap. This dense exotic South American hardwood is a great choice for siding and exterior applications because it is resistant to rot, decay, splinters and scratches. As the wood naturally weathers, it takes on a light silver/gray patina, which means there is no need to apply
