Tempered glass:Tempered glass is one kind of safely glass being produced by heating flat glass to its softening point.Then on its surface forms the compressive stress and suddenly cool down the surface evenly, thus the compressive stress again distributes on glass surface while the tension stress exists at the center layer of the glass. The tension stress caused by outside pressure is counterbalanced with the strong compressive stress. As the result the safety performance of glass is sincreased.

Tempered glass production process:

1.Cutting : cutting the annealing glass to the actual needs of shape.

2.Glass edging: Edging machine to mill the four edges to prevent frund when steeling,

while maintaining the beautiful appearance.

3.Drilling hole:If need to drilling hole using drilling machine.

4.Washing dry:cleaning the glass with washing maching.

5.Tempered glass:Tempered glass is produced by heating annealed glass in a furnace to 700°,

then the glass is rapidly cooled with jets of cold air to 40°,through the procedures, 

the original glass is formed of tempered glass.

Applications:Tempered glass is a safety glass and is widely used in those occasions putting forward a very high 

demand for mechanical strength and safety , such as glass doors, buildings curtain walls, indoor partitions, 

elevators,Windows of motor vehicles, boats and ships ,show windows, buildings major face windows, 

furniture and household electric appliances.

1)Safety Being  hard  to be broken in impacts and becoming very small particle fragments with obtuse angles ,

tempered glass cause no injuries to human body .

2)High strength Compared to float glass with the same height ,tempered glass processes a bending and

impact resistant strength three to five times higher              

3)Thermal  stabilityTempered glass has a thermal stability better than float glass.

4) Standard It is made of two pieces of glass, which is bending after processing. It breaks the balance of straight,

and two or more pieces of glass combine, makes the glass meet the need of building design, 

and have better sound insulation performance; lower heat conductivity.
