Product Description
Low-E double insulated glass commonly consists of two (sometimes more) panels of glass(clear tempered glass or low-e glass) separated by analuminum spacer and sealed together at the edge. The insulating airspace is filled with dry air or a noble gas, such as argon or krypton inside to slow the heat exchange and reduce noise levels. The aluminum spacer is filled withsilica desiccant pellets to ensure removal of any moisture in the airspace. The IGU is designed to keep homes warmer in winter and cooler in summer.
tempered insulated glass is a toughened insulated glass, not easy to be broken.
low-e insulated glass make it with better energy saving fuction.
We use low E glass to make energy saving, it have many advantage as below:
Optical Properties:The visible lighttransmittance of insulated glass systems is normally in the range of 7-80%
and the visible light reflectance is in the range of 10-48%;
Thermal Properties:The U-value is effectivelylowered by double glazing units and can be further reduced by
filling of inertgases like argon gas;
Acoustical Insulation:Insulated glass has goodsound proof function, can reduce noise by more than 30 dB;
Condensation:The dew point of insulating glass is below -65 °C which guarantees nocondensation formation
under normal applications;
Sealing:Aluminum spacer isautomatically curved and formed with the fewest joints and dual seals areapplied,
which ensures excellent sealing characteristics and long applicationlife-time.
