Just bought a 1.2 hectares and want to build 2 big main houses, 2 other houses and granny flats. 5 bedrooms on top the bottom part should be a sitting area/ mini kitchen. It's going to be the kids(teens) bachelor area. The 2 main houses. 1 should be a double story building. The other 2 houses here is an idea but please modify/ update so it looks modern. As per above the idea is that I want the houses as explained in a 1.2 hectare area how you play around with the measurements it's up to you. All I can say is the small bedrooms shouldn't be less than 5X6 m² for the houses. Just have to leave space for a pool and a playground. Another main house: 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and if possible do another toilet from the outside of the houses. 1 of the main houses you can do 5 bedrooms. 2 can be ensuite and then another for the other bedrooms to share. 1 of the main houses (2 floors): 5 bedrooms. 2 can be ensuite and then another for the other bedrooms to share. another main house (1 floor) 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and if possible do another toilet from the outside of the houses. Please note they shouldn't be the same. 1 has a balcony on top of the garage the other doesn't. Or you may do an entertainment room on top of the other garage as well. Play around with the design. Also was thinking maybe the main bedroom should have a foldable glass wall in place of a window. 1 of the main houses (2 floors) 500 sqm another main house (1 floor) 300 sqm 300 sqm each one It's gonna be homes for my family. Present budget 2.5million Rand, but can be adjusted. I haven't involved the family as yet. Still a one man show. Will include them soon just to add personal touch Haven't taken any home loan as yet.
