Sayeeda Meer

I am a 28 year old female from Bangladesh , I grew up in Saudi Arabia where I am currently residing and I moved here in 1995.

I graduated from Dar UL Uloom university in the course Interior Design Engineering , I also have an associate degree in Interior Architecture from Limkokwing University which is in Malaysia where I was residing for 2.5 years.

I have always had a creative streak since I was very young , I always had a flair for Arts and Performance Arts field, my grandfather was an actor and my mother was also a designer and creative self expression is ingrained in my Lineage.

Architecture and Design seemed like the perfect outlet for my self expression and creating and always improving and changing my creative ideas and putting them into fruition has nearly fulfilled my thirst and desire for what I wanted to do in my life and in my career.

I was studying for almost three years in Malaysia in the course Interior Architecture where I got to experience site visits from which I learnt a lot and experienced interesting projects from which I evolved and started to think like a designer.
During my stay as a student, I also volunteered in refugee camps which made me grateful for what I have and where I am today.

While studying in Saudi Arabia in Interior Design, I got to learn a lot about the vast field of design and developed myself even more and also became more professional in the design software since their approach to teaching was more strict and it produced the desirable quality and output that is needed in the industry , I also expanded and used my creative streak to take part in their exhibitions and show cased my design projects.

As a second-class honor hard working student I developed the qualities needed for a designer.
In my career as an Interior Designer I plan to provide luxury and comfort services , aesthetic and use of more green spaces and recyclable materials which is more environmentally friendly and cost –effective.

Design when combined with aesthetic and scientific measures produces beautiful yet functional and luxurious outcomes which expresses my non-conformist, free –spirited personality making it a perfect career plan for me.

I have also worked as a 3d designer in expand where I learnt about different types of creative self expression acquired from designing booths of big companies, which opened another sector in design for me , creating booths using my own creative ideas and style made me realize the vast sectors available in design and how I can master each of these and establish myself as a well known designer in the industry.
