Albert Makambi

I am a designer with close to 10 years of experience in Interior design, Architectural design, Interior architecture, Space Planning, CAD (Computer Aided Design) experience and Interior construction and project management for both local and overseas clients. My clients over the years have engaged me in a variety of projects ranging from residential, commercial, retail stores, hospitality, health care, space renovations, office and corporate spaces, where we have exceeded expectations many instances, providing up to date, bespoke and clean solutions to a variety of challenges in design.
No design project is ever too big or too complex, once there is the right mindset, plan of action and expertise in place. My design approach involves four critical steps that backed by effective communication, a clear understanding of what is expected and design experience. These include:

- Programing / Pre-Design Stage
- Schematic / Preliminary Design Stage
- Design Development
- Construction Documentation, (Layouts, Elevation and Detail production)

So whether it’s renovating an old space with outdated plans and turning it into a warm, ultra-modern interior, or creating a novice space that complements an adjacent exterior landscape, the success of a design project depends on how well the needs of the client and end users are communicated and interpreted.
Being a designer and a design enthusiast, creativity is my religion, and every day is a Sunday. I love inventions and being imaginative. Creating new solutions to different problems and engaging my artistic mind during any conceptualization process. This is the core of my craft. To pass across strong design communication through great conceptual sketching, illustrative storytelling, visualization, 3d modelling and selecting material finishes. This is what drives me the most.
