ABOUT THE ARCHITECT
‘An Internationally Acclaimed Eloquent Architect, Sustainability Champion, Interior Designer, Urban Planner, Project Manager, Entrepreneur, Activist & Writer’ with a prime focus on sustainability and has a ‘creative comprehensive experience of 17+ years’ as ‘The Principal Architect and Designer’ at M/s. ARCHITECTURE NAZIA, an eloquent finale, an acclaimed design house that draws inspiration from cultural values that are distinctly rooted in the sub-continent, fusing vernacular methods with modern concepts, design, and construction processes.
Born in ‘A Conservative Indian Muslim Family’ with no architectural background, was no easy go, a difficult ‘JOURNEY OF PASSION TO THE PROFESSION' but for the support of her parents. Her measurement of success to say is almost 90% of all her efforts. Her expertise has garnered global architectural accolades in diverse sectors of various magnitudes in one way or the other was creative, determined, and sustainable in all her educational and professional career.

She has a proven ability in preparing competitive architectural designs for the completion of superior commercial, institutional, public and residential buildings actively synchronizing with a multiplicity of experiences, concepts, and modes of engagement with practice and code of conduct w.r.t. the profession.

Has a Bachelor's Degree in ’ARCHITECTURE’ from The University of Madras and has ‘WON HONOURS' in the campus of Dr. MGR Engineering college. Has capped the feathers of 'NATIONAL AWARDS' for ‘low-cost design & technology’ for slum dwellers in Molarbandh, New Delhi, and ‘conservation documentation’ for TN Chapter INTACH. Is pursuing Post - Graduate Diploma in Urban Planning and Development at IGNOU, New Delhi. Professionally affiliated ‘LIFETIME ASSOCIATE’ to ‘IIA and IIID’.
Along with Tamil Nadu Wakf Board in 2012 has worked as ‘AN ACTIVIST’ to rescue a Wakf Lands in Gudiyattam in Vellore District and still working for the betterment of the same.
'Ar.NAZIA SUSTAINABILITY VILLAGE' - a green urbanzo, is the dream innovation and sustainability project of the ARCHITECT on paper to realize soon, the service, and model to the society of architecture and future architects to frame green design and construction’.
To add to her service, 'Ar.NAZIA‘S DESIGN MEMOIRE, BEYOND ENVIRONMENTALLY GREEN' - an initiative of the architectural literary work of the architect emphasizing the Concept - Practise - Expertise of the Architect and Architecture.
She is an accomplished writer, activist, and columnist on innovation and sustainability.
She has been 'INTERNATIONALLY ACCOLADED - FINALIST’ at BIG 5 Impact Construction Awards 2021, Dubai as 'SUSTAINABILITY CHAMPION OF THE YEAR' for her valuable accomplished works in Sustainability.
She‘s won 'NATIONAL AWARD for THE INDIAN WOMAN ENTREPRENUER AWARD - IWEA 2022’ by NIRGIA BRAND PROMOTERS.
