Personal Introduction

My name is Nathanael Manchlot, and I am an architect by profession and the founder of NAMA Studio, a young interior design and 3D visualization practice. Over the past five years, I have been actively working in the interior design and visualization industry on a wide range of projects, collaborating closely with architecture firms, contractors, and professional consultants.

I currently lead a small team of three professionals and work with external specialists depending on project requirements. My role spans the full design and project lifecycle — from early concept development through design documentation, construction coordination, and final handover — allowing me to approach projects with both creative and technical responsibility.

Design Philosophy

My design philosophy is based on care, attention to detail, collaboration, and commitment to quality. I believe that successful interior design emerges from a deep understanding of client needs, functional requirements, and the experiential qualities of space.

I approach each project as a collaborative and iterative process, working closely with architects, contractors, and consultants to refine ideas into buildable solutions. I value clarity, coordination, and precision, ensuring that creative concepts are translated into technically sound and well-executed outcomes.

I also believe in continuous learning and improvement, using each project as an opportunity to refine both my design sensibility and my professional practice.

Software & Technical Practice

Technology plays a central role in my design process, particularly through 3D modeling and visualization as both design and communication tools. I use digital platforms to test spatial ideas, study materials and lighting, and communicate design intent clearly to clients and collaborators.

My technical skill set includes:

3D Modeling and 3D Visualization

AutoCAD and Revit for technical and construction drawings

Adobe Photoshop and InDesign for presentation and visual communication

Mood boards, concept diagrams, and design presentations

These tools support strong coordination, reduce design risks, and enable informed client and consultant decision-making throughout the project lifecycle.

Project Experience

Over the last five years, I have been involved in residential, commercial, and hospitality interior projects across different scales and complexities. My responsibilities have included:
