Bernard

Mick Bernard is a visual artist, with a multidisciplinary career spanning art direction, graphic design, and architectural design. He began his professional journey while still studying architecture, working as an Art Director at renowned advertising agencies such as J. Walter Thompson, MPM, and DPZ. During this period, his work received national and international awards and was featured in leading annuals and specialized publications.

Over the course of his career, Mick has developed more than 1,500 graphic projects—including logos, posters, and editorial materials—managing the full process from concept through final production. In parallel, he established a solid practice as an architectural designer, with a particular focus on facade retrofit projects, contributing design concepts, visual identity, and architectural solutions aimed at revitalizing and requalifying existing buildings.

After earning a master’s degree in Film in Los Angeles, Mick served as Executive Director of Communications at Rede Band TV network, where he led corporate communication strategies and large-scale advertising campaigns. He later founded Estalo Comunica, a studio specialized in Graphic Design and Environmental Signage, collaborating with leading corporate architecture firms and construction companies in Brazil. In 2007, Estalo was acquired by Pigmentum Digital Printing, where Mick assumed the role of Director of Special Projects.

Currently, Mick operates his own studio, maintaining rigorous aesthetic standards and a strong commitment to technological innovation. More recently, he conceived and launched **Replikka.Art**, an e-commerce platform dedicated to museum-quality reproductions of fine art, while remaining actively engaged in visual arts practice, without distancing himself from architectural design activities or from the creation and development of digital applications, areas in which he continues to integrate aesthetics, technology, and functional innovation.
