I am Sarbajit Rai from Bhutan and currently working as a civil engineer (both on-site supervision, structural and architectural designs), hydrologist, Climate expert, Environmental Engineer (Particularly for Government projects NECs, Thromdes, MoIT, MoPH, NSB and other government agencies). Besides that, I was also involved in other international organizations projects such as UNDP, SNV, UNCEF, Asian Development and world Banks.
I have completed my bachelor in Civil Engineering from one of the renowned universities (Anna University) in 2018. As soon as I completed my undergraduate course, I was recruited in Bhutan Engineer PVT. LTD as site engineer for a year. Being there I was assigned to handle the project of installation of transmission towers for 66 KV from Thimphu to Gasa. After completing the project, I have been displaced to work under structural and architectural designing firm, Unfortunately, after working for a year, the office was closed to due COVID-19 pandemic. After the pandemic, I have started working as civil and environment engineer in ChhimiD Counsulting, where I have gained various Civil, environment, climate, hydraulics and hydrology related knowledge. Nevertheless, I am also working on hardcore civil engineering and architectural drawings.
