DESIGN PHILOSOPHY

My design philosophy is centred on developing practical, functional, safe and constructible solutions that respond to the technical and aesthetic requirements of each project. I approach design as an integrated process, coordinating architectural, structural, MEP and interior requirements to achieve efficient use of space, appropriate material selection, constructability and cost effectiveness.

I believe effective design should not only satisfy drawings and specifications but should also consider how a project will be constructed, operated, maintained and eventually adapted. My approach therefore combines technical analysis, 3D modelling, interdisciplinary coordination and practical site experience.

DESIGN ABILITY

I have multidisciplinary design capabilities covering:

- Architectural Design: Concept development, space planning, floor plans, elevations, sections, 3D modelling and presentation drawings.
- Structural Design: Structural framing, steel structures, reinforced concrete elements, structural detailing, load assessment and preparation of construction drawings.
- MEP Design: Coordination and development of mechanical, electrical and plumbing layouts, with emphasis on integration with architectural and structural systems.
- Interior Design: Space planning, furniture layouts, interior detailing, finishes, ceilings, partitions, cabinetry and 3D visualization.
- Shop & Fabrication Drawings: Development of detailed manufacturing, fabrication and installation drawings for steelwork, aluminium, furniture and other fabricated components.
- BIM & 3D Modelling: Development and coordination of multidisciplinary building models and production of coordinated construction documentation.
- Project Management: Planning, coordination and supervision of design and construction activities, including contractor coordination, material requirements, quality control, progress monitoring and site implementation.

PROJECT EXPERIENCE

My project experience covers the complete design and construction cycle, from concept development and technical design through to fabrication, site coordination and project completion.

Experience includes:

- Architectural and interior design of residential, commercial and institutional spaces.
- Structural design and detailing of steel and reinforced-concrete structures.
- Design of equipment bases, support structures, platforms, stairs and other engineered structures.
- Development of coordinated architectural, structural and MEP drawings.
- Steel, aluminium and furniture fabrication/shop drawings for manufacturing and installation.
- 3D modelling and visualization for architectural and engineering projects.
- Site supervision and coordination of contractors and specialist trades.
- Preparation of material take-offs, fabrication information and construction documentation.
- Coordination between design requirements, fabrication processes and actual site conditions.
- Project management, including planning, resource coordination, quality monitoring and progress control.
