Lisa Muthoni Ngare

I am a Kenyan architect and architectural/interior designer with professional experience across residential, hospitality, commercial and workplace projects. My design approach is centred on creating spaces that are functional, thoughtful and visually refined, while responding to the client's lifestyle, context, budget and practical requirements.

I have experience developing projects from concept and spatial planning through to detailed architectural and interior construction drawings, with a strong focus on translating design ideas into clear, buildable solutions. My experience includes residential villas and homes, hospitality and resort projects, office fit-outs, retail spaces and renovations.

My strengths lie in space planning, interior detailing, material and finish selection, architectural documentation, bespoke joinery design, 3D visualization and design coordination. I particularly enjoy projects where architecture and interiors are developed together, ensuring that the overall design language is cohesive from the larger spatial planning down to the smallest details.

I am proficient in ArchiCAD, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, InDesign and Twinmotion and Revit . I am comfortable producing detailed floor plans, elevations, sections, reflected ceiling plans, lighting and electrical layouts, finishes and tiling layouts, joinery details, kitchen and wardrobe drawings, schedules and other construction documentation.

I have worked collaboratively with clients, contractors, consultants and project teams, and understand the importance of clear communication, accuracy, coordination and meeting project deadlines. I aim to deliver design work that is not only aesthetically strong but also practical, technically considered and ready to translate into construction.
