My design philosophy is simple: design must work before it wows. I focus on creating spaces that are functional, efficient, and responsive to the people using them, but I also make sure they carry a strong visual identity. I’m very intentional about spatial flow, natural lighting, and how a user actually experiences a building from entry to exit. In terms of my design ability, I’m comfortable handling a project from start to finish. I can develop concepts into clear floor plans, refine them into working drawings, and then bring them to life through realistic visualisations.
Over the past three years, I’ve worked with two different design firms as an intern, where I gained hands-on experience on real projects. I’ve been involved in drafting, 3D modelling, and presentation work, and I’ve also had the opportunity to supervise some projects on-site. That experience helped me understand how drawings translate into actual construction, and how to handle real-world challenges like site conditions, materials, and coordination. Software-wise, I’m proficient in AutoCAD, but my main workflow is centred around Revit, which I use for modelling and documentation. For visualisation, I use V-Ray and Twinmotion to produce high-quality renders and presentations. This allows me to communicate ideas clearly to both clients and team members.”
One of my key strengths is my ability to bridge design and execution. I don’t just create concepts, I think about how they will be built. I’m also adaptable and detail-oriented, which helps me work effectively across different types of projects and teams. I am still early in my career, but with my background from the Federal Polytechnic Auchi, combined with hands-on project experience, I bring both technical skill and practical understanding to every design I work on.

One of the most defining aspects of my experience so far has been my involvement in diverse and context-driven projects across residential, institutional, and religious architecture.
I contributed to the design of a luxury church building, where the focus was on creating a spiritually expressive yet modern architectural form. The project required careful attention to spatial hierarchy, congregation flow, and the symbolic use of light and volume to enhance the worship experience. I was also involved in the design of an American–Nigerian based school administrative block and auditorium, developed last year. This project emphasized functional efficiency, clear circulation systems, and formal presentation spaces suitable for academic administration and large gatherings. It also required balancing international design expectations with local construction realities.
In addition to these, I have worked on several residential developments, where I supported the transition from concept layouts to fully developed drawings and presentation-ready 3D visualizations. These experiences have strengthened my ability to adapt design thinking across different building types and client needs.
I am confident handling projects within the small to medium-scale range independently, particularly developments between **100 m² and 600 m² total floor area. This includes residential buildings, institutional facilities, and multi-unit layouts. For larger developments, I am equally effective in a collaborative role, contributing to design development, documentation, and visualization within a team structure. My workflow is well-suited to Revit-based coordination, allowing me to integrate smoothly into larger project environments when required.
My key strength lies in my ability to bridge technical precision with visual communication. I do not only focus on producing drawings, but on ensuring that the design is clearly understood at every stage of the process.
