Nadia Kwamboka Moenga

My experience as an architect intern in Ministry of Public Works was amazing. I think those eight of internship has taught me as much as I had learnt in 3 academic years. I did my internship in Architecture course in barize Construction company, It was a small firm with limited number of projects. The firm serves in all allied disciplines such as landscape, product design, industrial design, interior design and much more which a perticular project needs. There were two reasons why i enjoyed those eight months so much. One is because i was in my hometown where I knew everything .In that architectural capital I was like a small bird who can fly very high and very long. And the second reason is the discussions used happen in my office; my seniors in the office has a habit of asking questions which is quite rare today. They also answered many immature and curious questions of mine. Their views about architectural drawings, design, ethics of the profession, attitude of a trainee, their contemporary architect's works, arts, films and books were very specific which allowed me to see those things with the view of a practitioner rather than a student. In overall my perspectives towards life as in whole get widened
