Ildio Daio

Ildio Daio, Angolan, holds a degree in Architecture from the Faculty of Architecture of the Technical University of Lisbon (1999).

Specialist in Social Housing (Madrid 2005) and in Sustainable Urban Planning (World Bank 2012).

Participant in a "Task Force" of experts from the Africa Centre for Cities for the reform of Urban Legislation in Sub-Saharan Africa, an event organized by the Rockefeller Foundation (2012).

He directed the Urban Planning and Management Department of the Cazenga Urban Redevelopment Technical Office (GTRUC), and was a member of the Interministerial Commission for the reform of the State Housing Policy (2013).

Winner of the "Kubikus" Award in the Imogestin Urban Social Housing competition in 2016.

He was the curator of the Webinar on the Impact of COVID on Urban Planning in Angola, which resulted in the publication of a book of recommendations with the same title.

She was part of an urban research group, the Africa Habitat Project (University of Lisbon and Agostinho Neto University), on Urban Margins in Luanda.
