I am a Managing Director and Majority Shareholder at Design Build Engineering, a Turnkey and project management firm in Malawi. With over 20 years of experience in the building industry, I hold a pre Master of Engineering in Construction Engineering and Management, obtained in 2024 from the University of Michigan and a Degree in Civil Engineering from Saxion University. I am also a registered as an associate in South Africa and Malawi.
My core competencies include project planning, and management, design and supervision, contract management, and capacity building. I have successfully delivered a wide range of urban and rural projects, such as banks, office blocks, shopping malls, schools, factories, parliaments, data centers, and civil facilities, in various countries, including the Netherlands, United Kingdom, United States, South Africa, and Malawi.
As an innovative leader, I have been involved in introducing and appropriate technologies, in Malawi since 2007. I have also facilitated and engineered the development of construction training, education, and practice in Malawi, My mission is to serve the communities at the marketplace with energy, wisdom, ideas, skills, and technologies of the global community.
