ACTION POUR LA RESILENCE L HABITAT ET L ENVIRONNEMENT DURABLES SARLU
ARHED is a construction and design company operating throughout the Democratic Republic of Congo since 2019. With its experience in construction and architectural design, ARHED has established itself as an essential partner for its partners. Since our beginnings, we have carried out several construction and architectural design projects for several partners including the IOM, FAO, Concern WOldwide, WHO, ICRC, etc.

At ARHED, we believe that architecture and design are not just technical disciplines, but an artistic and functional expression that transforms spaces and profoundly impacts the lives of individuals. Our design philosophy is based on five fundamental principles:
1. Harmony between Tradition and Modernity

Africa, and particularly the region where we operate, has a rich architectural tradition. We draw inspiration from traditional forms, materials and techniques, while integrating modern elements to meet contemporary requirements. This fusion creates a unique and timeless identity for each project.

We integrate an ecological and sustainable approach into each design. This means:
• Using local and bio-sourced materials to minimize our carbon footprint.
• Maximizing renewable energy (solar panels, natural ventilation, rainwater harvesting).
