COMPANY PROFILE
Introduction
Green Design Studio (GDS) is a consultancy firm in having expertise in architectural, structural and electrical design. Registered
under the Construction Development Board of Bhutan in Structure Design, House Wiring, Architectural and Interior Design, GDS is equipped with
staffs; each specialized in their own field of work to meet the client’s expectation with safe and economical design.
We aim to provide vernacular architecture designs to minimize the carbon footprint of each construction without compromising safety and aesthetics
of the design. With green innovation, we try to provide cost effective designs in which the materials for the construction are mainly locally available
to enhance the locality’s tradition and to reduce the construction waste. We incorporate green energy methods wherever possible to reduce wastage
of energy and provide paths to renew and recycle energy.
The firm is leaded by the Chief Executive Officer who is responsible for overseeing all the activities in the firm. The CEO is a M. tech graduate in
Green Technology and provides strategy for green methods and manages both the administrative and technical sector. He is assisted by the Managing
Director who is an architect and leads the technical sector. The Administrative Sector is headed by the office assistant.

Ownership and Management
The consultancy is headed by the CEO who is the core decision making individual and looks after and manages all the sectors of the firm.

bounded to their respective field of expertise to meet the client’s expectation exceptionally.
Transfer of knowledge:
Bhutan is carbon negative country, so with these regards all department has policy in less environmental impact construction. In any project
environmental degradation and disasters are often commonly seen. To preserve the environment for the upcoming generations we would like to
propose the following to be incorporated which will be supervised by the consultant as a part of transfer of knowledge:
1. Building codes for green technologies
2. Advance green designs technology with all construction works
3. Usage of earthly materials for constructions
4. Proper drainage and water management systems
5. Energy efficient in terms of renewable energy will be incorporated

As per the policy of Bhutan we would like to incorporate the green buildings wherever there is feasible to incorporate the design. These is
practice to minimize the usage of processed materials minimizing the carbon footprint. Integrate sustainable design into project development
