Hello. My name is Kenneth Ngugi Njuguna. I hold a Professional Bachelors of Architecture degree from Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston USA, awarded in 1999. I have also attended 1 year of a Master of Science in Construction Project Management course at the University of Pretoria in South Africa.
What drives me? My design philosophy includes a passion for creating functional, beautiful environments that blend innovation with utility and turning concepts into habitable, captivating spaces. With 20+ years of experience in the profession, I bring onboard an adaptive, insightful approach to every project I handle and believe I am adequately equipped and proficient in a number of design software including AutoCAD, Sketchup, Gimp and Vray, to name a few.
My experience includes work on a wide variety of projects in USA, South Africa, Zambia, Ghana, Botswana and Kenya. These projects include schools, shopping malls, residential houses, high-rise residential buildings, hospitality/ hotels and game lodges. My key areas of expertise include but not limited to schematic design and design development, production of construction drawings, site inspection, quality control, production and review of tender and other procurement documents. For the last 6 years, I have been working privately as a freelancer and hope to make an immediate positive impression and valuable contribution to Builmost.
