More and more buyers try to import masks from China, but in order to ensure the quality of these masks, China customs has set up checkpoint to strictly observe the quality of export materials for fighting coronavirus. So how could your cargos pass through the China customs for getting your masks successfully? The following content you should notice:
Which standard your masks refer to?
Indeed, masks in all types are permitted for exporting from China. But the manufacturers shall provide corresponding documents for verification, and there are different export standards for different applications – Civil and Medical. The manufacturer should issue relevant documents when passing the customs. The following are perform standard of masks, just for your reference.
Requirements for non-medical masks
1.Offer photographs/ brand/packing list/business license
2.Information of manufacturer (name/address/phone number) shall be given on the master carton/product package or product qualification certificate.
3.Each small package/box of goods must be attached to the product qualification certificate. The product or package or product qualification certificate shall have: perform standard, production batch, manufacturer’s name, manufacturer’s address, production date, validity period. And must have no any information related to medical use (new rules).
4.For non-medical masks, offer product qualification certificates.
5.Domestic qualified inspection report
6.The joint-statement between importer and exporter that both side confirmed the quality of the product reached the standard of China and importing country, and the products will not be applied for medical use.
Requirements for medical masks
1.Offer photographs/ brand/packing list/business license
2.Medical Instrument Production Permit
3.Medical Instrument Registration Certificate
4.Manufacturer’s qualified inspection report
5.The manufacturer and the name and model on the registration certificate shall correspond to the Customs declaration information, and the manufacturing company shall be in the Customs registration list.
6.Each small package/box of goods must be attached to the product qualification certificate. The product or package or product qualification certificate shall have: perform standard, production batch, manufacturer’s name, manufacturer’s address, production date, validity period.
7.The exporting manufacturers must be qualified for importing country in terms of medical use products. And issue the commitment that the export products met the standard of importing country when passing the customs.
