Project Background
In its initial conception, the programme aimed to establish Azerbaijan's Museum of Sports as a prominent architectural entity in the capital city of Baku. However, a subsequent decision was made to transform the project into the distinguished office headquarters for the Ministry of Youth & Sports.

Floor Plan
GF - As the request was of a new office programme our intention was to extend ground floor facades as much as posssible to utiliise the footprint at maximum.
GF -Whereas possible we have created extensions of the glazing as much as the 1F fascia permitted
2F - We have perforated furthermore the facade in orther to create a stronger connection with the exterior and birng in more light
2F- 2 more sides were perforated and added glazing in order to enhance our concept
3F - The 3rd floor was a challenge as we needed to integrate a plethora of functions regarding the new organogram. This floor hosts the main Minister's office , an official conference room and other specific facilities
3F- As on all floors we have created more openings and tried to transmit the light coming from the atrium's skylight troughout all spaces
Interior Renderings
We have also perforated the groudn floor slab to create a lightwell intto the basement lobby
