Project Background
BISTROT Italian Restaurant is a brand under the HMS chain catering group in Italy. Came to China for the first time in 2019 Appointed as the design and construction consultant director for HMS China team, directly reporting to the Design Director Team from Itaiy; A consulting project jointly completed with the construction party hired by HMS China Team. To ensure the Italian global chain store image of Italy HQ is implemented.
The resturant was opened on 2019, and was successfully launched in Shanghai City, fully followed the design image and construction process of the Italy HQ and instruction. 100% Italian original design style, but later withdrew from the China market due to the COVID-19 influence of the local business.
Project Concept
The brand first entered Shanghai, China in 2019. In order to maintain its original global design image, HMS Italy HQ has been responsible for the overall design direction, and China team is formed in Shanghai locally to transform and arrange the design and modified the drawings and construction. All details are strictly in accordance with the HQ Design Team specifications.
The brand provides all global design requirements to ensure a consistent global image for local design and construction teams. And conduct necessary local design deepening and all technical research on construction. Ensure that the image, overall restaurant design, decoration, construction, kitchen equipment and facilities, interior and soft decoration are closest to the Italy HQ. Since it was the first store in China, HQ has to maintain the original F&B taste and Italian resturant design style,

Materials & Processing Technology
All materials are designated and instructed by HMS Italy HQ team , some selected locally and imported from Italy, try to match the global image style for the use of the materials with most Italian design style as much as possible. The construction process handled as same.

All design & construction drawings are plannedn by Italy HQ Team, in accordance with the shopping mall's information and regulation in the early stage, all in English version. After the HQ Design Director formated a Shanghai team, the Shanghai team to do further design modify and improvement, construction drawings, process translation, and other work. Coordinate with local construction smoothly. The process is rigorous and cumbersome.
