Project Background
This project features a modern, single-story 2-bedroom residential bungalow designed for optimized suburban living . The architectural concept blends traditional masonry textures with modern geometric forms. The functional programming focuses on a clear zoning split: an open-plan shared living, dining, and kitchen zone on one side, and private, quiet sleeping quarters on the other. Key client requirements included maximizing natural light, efficient spatial flow, and an inviting entry porch.
Exterior Renderings
This perspective highlights the rear facade, showcasing the integration of the bedroom wings and functional wet areas. It illustrates the rhythmic alignment of the multi-pane windows that ensure consistent daylighting across the private quarters. The view emphasizes the clean transition of the stone-textured masonry walls to the white structural fascia trim, as well as the geometric volume of the main gable roof profile as it slopes towards the rear porch area.
This lateral elevation view captures the complete elongated building envelope, detailing the structural relationship between the front entry zone and the rear spaces. It emphasizes the uniform dark plinth base that anchors the bungalow to the landscape, the continuous alignment of window lintels, and the complex interlocking valleys of the grey concrete tile roof system, showcasing a well-proportioned, unified design.
A composite corner perspective presenting both the primary entryway and the side wing. This angle clearly demonstrates the depth of the recessed entry porch and the structural support columns finished in soft accent tones. It highlights how the large, vertically stacked window ribbons puncture the textured stonework to create a modern aesthetic, while showcasing the overall architectural footprint and spatial hierarchy from a balanced three-quarter viewpoint.
Floor Plan
The 12.5m x 13.5m orthographic floor plan showcases an efficient, zero-waste circulation layout. From the entry porch, the space transitions seamlessly into a spacious living room and a central passage. The master bedroom features optimized furniture clearance, while Bedroom 2 sits adjacent to a private rear porch. The kitchen features a compact U-shaped configuration with direct outdoor access. Wet zones (WC/shower) are centrally clustered to minimize plumbing runs.
Elevation Plan
The architectural elevations illustrate the full 360-degree vertical envelope of the structure, maintaining a maximum roof ridge height of +6.00m. The drawings highlight the precise alignment of window lintels, textured stone facades, and the symmetrical proportions of the gable roof profiles. Ground line transitions and structural heights are clearly defined across the East, West, North, and South projections to ensure absolute clarity for construction and fabrication.
Section Plan
The cross-sectional view (Section E-E) illustrates the vertical spatial layering, structural volume, and interior volume of the bungalow. The cutaway highlights the transition from the foundation up through the masonry walls, showcasing the double-height spatial quality created by the high-pitched gable roof. It clearly documents the relationship between the main living spaces and the overhead storage voids, defining clear floor-to-ceiling heights, window head alignments, and structure.
