Project Background
The project aims to transform the existing structure into a modern, functional, and climate-responsive home, balancing practicality, comfort, and architectural character within the limitations of the site.
Exterior Renderings
The overall character of the house is Contemporary Tropical Modern-designed to be both visually striking and highly functional for our climate. The faade is composed of clean, balanced volumes, highlighted by a central stone-clad element that anchors the design and gives it a strong, elegant identity.
Wide roof overhangs and layered horizontal lines are incorporated not just for aesthetics, but to provide protection from heat and rain, ensuring comfort throughout the day. Large glass openings allow natural light to enter the spaces while maintaining a seamless connection between indoor and outdoor areas.
Floor Plan
Ground Floor: The ground level is designed to prioritize accessibility and daily living:
• A Master’s Bedroom with its own full Toilet and Bath, ideal for privacy and long-term convenience.
• Open-plan Living and Dining Areas to create a spacious and welcoming environment.
• A functional Kitchen, connected efficiently to service areas
• A Powder Room for guests
• A designated Laundry Area, positioned for practicality and ventilation
Second Floor: This level serves as the primary private zone:
• Three (3) Bedrooms, each designed with comfort and adequate natural lighting in mind
• One (1) Bedroom with its own private Toilet and Bath.
• Two (2) additional Bedrooms designed for flexibility and comfort
• A shared full Toilet and Bath accessible to the two bedrooms
This layout balances privacy and efficiency while optimizing available space.
Third Floor
Instead of constructing a separate house, this level accommodates the requirement for another family unit:
• A complete Living, Dining, and Kitchen Area
• Three (3) Bedrooms
• One (1) Bedroom with its own private Toilet and Bath.
• A shared full Toilet and Bath accessible to the two bedrooms
This configuration allows the third floor to function as an independent living space, while still being part of the main structure.
