Project Background
The hospital design begins with the concept of an eye, symbolizing the hospital's focus on care. The initial design featured a curved, half-eye form but was limited in space utilization. To optimize functionality, the shape was changed to a rectangular structure, improving space efficiency. The design incorporated angled, diagonal lines to represent the iris but was simplified to straight lines for cost-effectiveness and ease of construction. A central skylight was added to symbolize the pupil o

Exterior Renderings
With the concept generalization done , we needed to focus on the layout .
Since this is a hospital we looked at how we could make it accessible for emergencies and comfortable and private for patients .The public areas, such as the emergency department and outpatient services, are located near main entrances and transport routes for quick access. We zoned the more sensitive areas, like patient wards and specialized care units, are placed in quieter, more secluded zones to provide patients wit

When designing the hospital we looked at ways in order to for the spaces to be catered for visually impaired person, for example.
Lighting: Adequate natural and artificial lighting without glare for visual comfort.
Layout: Clear wayfinding, with separate areas for consultations, diagnostics, surgery, and recovery.
Infection Control: Sterile zones and proper ventilation for surgical areas.
Accessibility: Barrier-free design for visually impaired patients.
Equipment Space: Adequate room for specia
