Project Background
This is Multistorey Steel Car Park project that the client had instructed to be designed by Eurocode standards. It was a very complex project involving mat foundations, with I sections for columns and beams and a composite slab system. It was to handle a capacity of 30 vehicles per floor, the client instructed that wind load in addition to the other loads was to be considered.
This is analysis view showcasing predominantly the axial loads. It also showcases the relevant loading combinations used in the design
Scheme Design
This is a floor plan created from AutoCad the file was then exported to Protastructures for modelling.

3D view of the modelled structures showcasing the floor arrangement, support system and even the foundations type.
Seismic Design
Their was no need to carry out any seismic analysis or design since the project was located in a no-seismic active zone. However, lateral wind loads were considered in addition to dead and live loads.
