Project Background
CAI Consuelo Zavala Childcare Center Interior Design
The CAI interior design project is located in the Francisco de Montejo neighborhood of Mrida. It was designed for a childcare center, where the "fairy tale" concept transforms the space into a magical, safe, and stimulating environment for children. Through a soft, natural color palette—beige, brown, green, blue, and gold—the design seeks to create a warm and welcoming environment that encourages imagination and learning.
Floor Plan
Reception Area: Designed to provide a warm welcome, with light-toned wooden furniture and decorative details reminiscent of a storybook cover. Play and Learning Rooms: Open spaces with soft-toned walls and murals illustrated with storybook scenes. Play modules with tree-shaped structures and playhouses are integrated, as well as tatami mats on the floor for added safety.
