Project Background
Reviving the spiritual life of Saint Maron's Grotto on the banks of the Orontes River. The first Maronite monastery in Lebanon, due to its religious and historical value
Floor Plan
As soon as we arrive, we enter this floor, which contains a reception hall, the cathedral, the historical museum of the Maronites, and the elevator to the other floors.
Interior Renderings
It created all the needs for visitors to this site so that they can spend several days. And it is a religious historical archaeological landmark on a high level. There was a need to work on establishing a cathedral, a museum to display the history of the Maronites and how they arrived in this cave and hid in it for years, to spread from it to all parts of Lebanon. This project also needs studios consisting of one floor and two floors that accommodate two people or more for the possibility of sleeping. We find them on the last floor of the project. As for underground, we found a restaurant that serves visitors with a facade overlooking the river.
