As the "facade role" of the whole house, gray glass and gray stone are used in the entrance, which is transparent and continuous at the same time, which is very modern. The console table can be used as a decoration, or as a storage table when entering the door.

I hope to create a warm and elegant entrance space, so I made wood veneer for the TV cabinet door, and the black color in the middle can focus the sight

The walls of the living room are in an overall gray tone, and the floor and cabinets are made of wood to neutralize the atmosphere, making it clean and comfortable.

The floor is made of wood-grain bricks, and the appearance is consistent with the style of the whole house, which is more suitable for the head of the household who has requirements for cleanliness.

After the wall was removed, it was rationally planned, and through the integrated design of LDK, the three spaces of guest, dining and kitchen broke the "gap" in the traditional layout. In the originally small kitchen, an independent island was added, which can be used as a cooking table for western kitchens.

The cabinet doors, slate countertops, and wall tiles are all in a harmonious and unified gray color, which has both appearance and quality.

Warm and comfortable master bedroom, the wood finish is made together with the bay window.

The study is arranged in the living room, where the male owner can spend time with his family while working/entertaining. Several functional areas are independent and interconnected, which maximizes the use of space while enhancing family interaction.

The children's room is clean and simple, with fresh colors, providing a comfortable environment for children to grow up.

Project Background

This is a case designed in 2019 and completed in 2021. This 110-square-meter house is located in Daxing, Beijing. The owner is a young and fashionable couple and their newborn baby. I demolished the wall of the original bedroom. The integrated design of LDK makes the three functional areas of the guest, dining and kitchen independent and interconnected, which enhances the interaction between the family, makes the entry line more reasonable, and maximizes the use of space.
