Project Background
The head of the household this time is a family of three, hoping to renovate their 83-square-meter second-hand old house.
The head of the household is a cooking expert, and he hopes to have a kitchen where he can "show his skills", but the original kitchen is too crowded. In addition, a 90-degree blunt right angle at the corner of the living room makes the vision of the entire space look very awkward.
Through the change of the layout, these problems can be solved; and through the coordination of
Interior Renderings
A sunken cement porch is set at the door, which is visually distinguished from the floor in the house and separates the dirty floor from the clean floor. There is a full-length mirror in the entrance, which is convenient for grooming before going out.
The living room has handcrafted wooden floors. Different from the unified industrial feeling, the surface of the handmade floor has a natural woody concave-convex feeling, and it is matched with simple and elegant furniture, which has a natural temperature.
A "invisible door" is also set here, which is integrated with the plain wall, and the visual subtraction is done to the greatest extent.
The original right-angled wall in the living room was removed, and a sloped wall cabinet was added to match the arc door opening of the entrance, making the vision look softer.
The wall between the kitchen and the dining room has also been removed to form an open dining-kitchen integrated space. In this way, the originally cramped kitchen has a more free activity area.
The island and bar of the restaurant are made of rock slabs, visually integrated. Slate means "sintered stone". It is resistant to high temperature, scratch-resistant, and impermeable. It is a very durable material for kitchens and restaurants, with both appearance and quality.
The planned bathroom is separated from wet and dry, and the surface is coated with waterproof paint, which is easy to clean and not easy to mold. A light bar is hidden behind the irregular circular mirror to create a warm sense of light.
The wall of the master bedroom is made of micro-cement, which has a "minimalist wabi-sabi" style, elegant and pure. This kind of cement material has high density and high hardness, and has a natural and original texture. Curtains in contrasting pastel shades work together to create a cozy ambience for falling asleep.
The color of the lockers by the wall also echoes the wall, and the small ornaments and lighting make the industrial-style cabinets less rigid.
Different from the "wabi-sabi style" in the master bedroom, the wall of the children's room is made of brick red, which is more lively and jumping.
