The staircase is hidden on the back of the floating cabinet, and the light divides the sense of space when entering and leaving the house.

Combining function and form, the foyer and the living and dining room have a visual continuation, and the sense of ritual of entering the home is multiplied.

A dark atmosphere runs through the room, combining soft wood and light gray.

Open the stair space to make daily life more relaxed and comfortable in an open way.

You can sit on the sofa and look up at the sky, enjoying the breath of light and shadow brought by nature.

In the small corner of the living room, when you come home, you can play music on the reclining chair to release the tiredness of the whole day.

The kitchen space is lined with dark gray cement bricks, with matte black lacquered cabinet doors.

The dark gray lacquered door panels and the dark matte slate on the ground reduce the natural light of the restaurant on the surface. In fact, it strengthens our perception of light, increases the overall atmosphere of the space, and the experience texture of the restaurant.

Breaking the hidden spatial boundaries, free wandering is all about emotional ups and downs.

The light forms layers of shadows through the steps of the stairs. With the passage of time and the change of sunlight, the light and shadow chase each other, and we can enjoy this peaceful picture exclusively in the living room.

In the planned space on the second floor, the study room is used as an extension of the public area, and it is close to the two daughters' rooms to increase the emotional communication between families.

Water drop faucet, white basin, terrazzo, visual harmony, wash basin combined with makeup area, function and appearance coexist.

Project Background

This is a set of cases located at the foot of Jingting Mountain. This penthouse duplex in Jingting Mountain has a large terrace that allows the house to strike a balance between bright light and the warmth of black tones and wood tones. In design, the use of dark colors is best explained by light. This project reflects the designer's pursuit of light and dark trade-offs.
