Project Background
Lingnan Style Street Culture is the soul of a city, lingnan architecture is not only an important carrier, but also the essence of Lingnan culture. In this case, the design of the commercial block draws lessons from the architectural culture of the Ming and Qing dynasties and integrates characteristic attractive elements to make its style more meaningful for development and taste of potential level.

Culture is the soul of a city. Lingnan architecture is not only an important carrier, but also the essence of Lingnan culture. The commercial block design in this case draws on the architectural culture of the Ming and Qing dynasties and incorporates characteristic attractive elements to make its style more meaningful and potential level.
In order to highlight this kind of cultural buildings that have been passed down for many years, we designed such a simple and stable style to enhance the marketing opportunities of the entire block in the new era. Or narrow door high house, or wok ear high wall. Most of the brick and wood structure, the streets and alleys are all blue brick and stone feet to create the perfect reproduction of Lingnan architectural features, very rich in local regional characteristics.
The realistic effect of the block is displayed, and the visual illusion surrounded by the real scene and the artistic conception is ornamental and satisfies the aesthetic needs of the public. It turned out to be so interesting. In the Song Dynasty "Shui Diao Ge Tou", "there is the universe within" as the inspiration entity to create a landscape, rich levels, greatly satisfying consumers' curiosity and exploration psychology.
Various scenes such as hawking vendors and fortune-telling booths highly restore the scenes of market life in the Lingnan area at that time, and substitute the breath of historical life into modern business.
Lingnan has been a water town since ancient times. The designer conveniently used rockery, running water, waterwheels, small boats and other experience devices to highlight the characteristics of Lingnan.
At the same time, the "Pear Garden" opera stage is used cleverly to set up a comfortable rest area for tourists, which improves the comfortable experience of play and becomes more interesting and playful.

The shop design is inspired by the ancient inn, with extensive use of wood elements, returning to simplicity. Walking on this green brick street, it seems to be reminiscent of the scene of an energetic hero riding a horse in a hurry.

On the street ceilings, the essence of Confucian literature such as "History", "Benevolence", "Zhou", and "Rite" adds a strong cultural flavor to the bookstore.
