Interior Renderings
iF Design Awards is known as the Oscar for product design and is the standard for internationally renowned products.
The project is located in Tianfu software park, Chengdu, China. This is the first iF design center in Asia. The main concept is trying to interlock Chinese culture and principle of iF Design Award- the order from maximize to minimize, which is the integration between the traditional Chinese philosophy - to follow the inner order and the Western- to focus on the scientific order. Burr puzzle is the start point.
All of the exhibition needed elements are combined as burr puzzle in the function box. However, when absence of exhibition activities, all collected in the atrium space, the various parts were opened to use, to maximize the use of flexibility. Tracks are set in both ground and ceiling, so achieve flexible and orderly.
The entire space are separated into two floors, thus we opened up some part of the ceiling of the first floor to create levels. The opening link two floors together and create interests within spaces.
