Project Background
The Kisumu County Assembly ultra-modern chambers and offices project is located in Milimani, adjacent to the Tom Mboya Labour College. Costing roughly KSh 418,356,348.60 the project aims to replace cramped, colonial-era facilities (which suffered from severe congestion, lacking sufficient public/speaker galleries and forcing some departments to rent external office) with a modern, spacious working environment for 48 Members of County Assembly (MCAs) and administrative staff.
Floor Plan
This is a detailed reflected ceiling plan (RCP) for the Kisumu County Assembly Fourth Floor. It shows suspended acoustic ceiling panels, gypsum bulkheads and recessed ceilings, together with the locations of LED panel lights, recessed/downlights, linear profile lights, pendant lights, and timber-slat ceiling features. The plan also identifies different ceiling finishes and materials through a clear legend, with dimensions and room layouts coordinated to to the architectural plan.
Office Area - Negotiation Room
This parliament chamber features a formal, traditional-modern legislative interior with a strong emphasis on wood, symmetry, and institutional character.
Other Interior Renderings
This is a modern vaulted/beam ceiling with a clean symmetrical architectural design. Key features include: White gypsum false beams with integrated recessed circular downlights providing warm-white illumination. A central timber-slatted skylight, allowing natural daylight to filter through while adding a warm natural material accent. Large glazed symmetrical windows along both sides, bringing additional natural light into the space.
