Project Background
This project was a renovation and interior redesign for a cottage in Glen Lorne
Floor Plan
in conclusion the redesign ended in this manner, with 3 rooms broken apart and redesigned to accommodate a lounge and kitchenette.
Apartment - Bedroom (Master Room)
having opened up the area, through the demolition of some walls, we managed to create much larger windows in the main bedroom area, to allow for the maximum light to penetrate the building fabric
Apartment - Drawing Room, Living Room
the demolition of the intermediate wall, managed to open up space for the kitchenette and lounge, further allowing us to extend the window area and bring more light into the space from three directions.
Apartment - Other Public Areas
the main area became flooded with light, with the addition of a French door , recessed into the pocket of the veranda
Other Interior Renderings
the end result was a small cozy area, allowing for comfortable solo living
