Special Education School – Kochav HaShachar
The goal of the project was to create a unique learning and cooking environment that integrates education, professionalism, and independence for students with special needs. The aim was to provide them with essential life skills—particularly in the culinary field—in an engaging, accessible, and safe way.We approached the project with a holistic mindset: Design meets function – planning bright, accessible, and pleasant spaces with a logical flow
between classrooms, kitchens, and learning areas.
Adapted to special needs – creating clear work systems, using safe and easy-to-clean materials, and paying attention to small details that allow every student to take part.
Modular containers – integrating innovative, mobile units that allowed the expansion of spaces according to changing needs and flexible group activities. Educational and social vision – designing an environment that encourages collaboration, dialogue, and a sense of community,

Cooking Theory Classroom
The cooking theory classroom is designed as a flexible learning environment where students gain the knowledge that supports their hands-on culinary practice. The space combines the atmosphere of a traditional classroom with the needs of culinary education.

The regular classroom is designed as a calm, inclusive, and functional learning space that adapts to the diverse needs of students. Its layout emphasizes clarity, comfort, and accessibility, creating an environment where every student can focus and participate.
