Project Background
There is something different about PCEA Chogoria Hospital that separates it from other hospitals which is, it serves the community. This is evidenced by the fact that its doors remained open to the public during the 100 day nationwide doctors’ strike in the public hospitals despite it is no longer as practical and there is a great need to revise its unit.
Floor Plan
Our main concept for the maternity wing was the focus on the mother’s journey. The hospital will cater for the mother’s needs before, during and after birth. We have maintained the original shell of the wing as it is sufficient to serve its patients, but we rearranged the spaces to make its use as efficient as possible.
