Project Background
The existing house was severely damaged by Typhoon Odette on December 2021. The client requested to rebuild the house on the same footprint but wanted to renovate some parts.
Exterior Renderings
Located on top of the hill that prone to strong winds, the client desired to live a simple life as much as possible, therefore designing a house using concrete and vernacular materials is the solution. The CHB blocks of the exterior blend well with the neighboring rural houses. The owner invested in the construction of this house to be stronger for the next typhoons and earthquakes.
