Project Background
The project is located in the great rift valley, in between: two lakes - Abaya/Chamo and mountain, hence is going to be exposed to challenging local climate which is hot humid. Ventilation is accentuated by the porous facade with careful protection of opening systems from heat gain.
3D Renderings
The right side is facing the south west orientation which needed the protective coat.
This is a G+5+Terrace Hotel, enveloping boarding rooms, gym, cafe, bar and restaurant. Built in a hot humid region, features unique punched facade for appropriate ventilations, light and iconic image all at once. Inspired by the porous leaf layers of trees.
