At Block 45, our target is to truly understand our clients’ needs in order to allow their dreams to come to life. We analyze each project with its specific requirements, site conditions, etc., rather than imposing any given style or logic. We believe that good communication with the client is key to the success of a project and in order to allow the client to make informed decisions all the way through. While maintaining a strong focus on functionality and practicalities, we also have a passion for creating one-of-a kind designs which will allow your resort to stand out in the competitive market. We have strong project management skills and our aim is to make our clients’ experience as smooth as possible. We take great care in our development of technical information and effectively coordinate with other consultants and specialists. For all of our projects, we maintain firm control over the budget, involving the Quantity Surveyor at each stage to ensure the capital expenditure to the client is as low as possible while answering the brief and resolving to keep running costs as low as possible. Block 45 has been operating since 2008 and has solid experience working in the construction industry in Kenya (please refer to enclosed past projects list). We have specialized in the high end residential market and have delivered many successful projects where the investors achieved even higher returns than expected. We have a good track record of satisfied clients (please refer to enclosed reference letters) and we place high importance on meeting budget and deadline targets, not compromising on the quality of the end product. We have a director with over 27 years of international experience, with a large portion of that time being spent in the region, including 13 years in Kenya and 6 years in Botswana. His experience covers past projects of a similar nature and scale, including a number of hotel projects in the region. Our other proposed focal point within the company is a well established international architect who brings experience from Australia and the UK, further building her experience by working in Kenya since 2005, both in private practice and as a project manager at the United Nations Offices in Nairobi. We have a well-qualified and efficient team of technical and administrative staff and also have the capacity to expand as required due to our pool of competent technicians which we call upon when our workload is high.
